M.Tech(Computer Network)

M. Tech. in Computer Network provides graduate the necessary skills to design and deploy computer networks, tools, and applications in communication networks. The program focuses on subjects like network protocols and programming, information security, software engineering, advanced operating systems, and mobile computing in addition that they have a wide range of electives related to their domain to prepare the graduates in relevant domains.

M.Tech(Data Science)

M.Tech. in Data Science provides graduate the necessary skills in  Data science field is mainly focused towards the storage, retrieval, analysis and maintenance of data especially when its size (volume) is extremely high (Big Data). This programme is useful for students who wish to develop and utilise their skills to achieve a thorough knowledge of data science and engineering. Some of these are the ability to aggregate interpret and manage a large amount of heterogeneous data resources independent of the hardware and software resources. The programme consists of the modules to be learnt as compulsory electives along with core subjects of computer science and engineering. The program is designed specifically to well-equip the students with latest technological concepts like Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

M.Tech(Data Mining)

M.Tech. in Data Science provides graduate the necessary skills in Data Mining which is a comparatively new technology to determine the futuristic trends. Data Mining tends to extract out valuable information from large unused data using statistical techniques or by using techniques of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The extracted data can be used to increase the sales, grow the business, to analyze the market trends and also in fraud detection.

Dr Darpan Anand

Professor & Head in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Sir Padampat Singhania University
India with more than 20 years of experience in teaching, industry, and research. He is currently heading the Board of Studies, Member of research Degree Committee. He is expertise in curriculum development, academic processes, accreditations, and NEP. He teaches Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Cryptography & Network Security, Machine Learning, Robotics Process Automation, etc.
His research interests include Information Security, e-governance, machine learning, Intelligent Information Processing, Evolutionary Algorithms etc. He has guided several PG Dissertations. He is an author/co-author of more than 60+research papers (indexed in SCI, ESCI, Scopus etc.), Text books, book chapters (IET, Springer, and Elsevier), patents, etc. He is also a member of various esteemed research associations as IEEE, ACM, IAENG, TAEI, CSI, AIS, CSTA etc.

Dr. Alok Kumar is working as Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, India. He also Founder of Raccord IT Solutions, Jaipur, which is involved in advanced application and software development. Dr. Kumar has a rich professional experience in Data Science Consulting, Developing Data Products, Big Data Implementation, Big Data Visualization, Data management and maintenance for Banking, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Scientific Research, and Data-Driven Marketing Sectors. He worked as researcher at Ghent University, Belgium and involved in the industrial consultancy. He was a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematical Engineering of Universite Catholique de Louvain, Belgium and associated with the “Large Graphs and Networks” research group and involved in an EU-FP7 FIRE Project “EULER” with Prof. Jean-Charles Delvenne and Prof. Vincent Blondel.

He obtained PhD in Information Technology from IIIT Allahabad, India in the area of Internet architecture and IoT. He completed Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from MBM Engineering College, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, India and Master of Technology in Computer Engineering from Center for Development of Advanced Computing, Noida, India. He has published several research articles in the international journals and conferences of repute. Dr. Kumar delivered many technical talks on different topics at various prestigious academic and industrial events.
